YOUTH BASEBALL/SOFTBALL

Batter Up! Youth Baseball & Softball is about to begin!
Participation fees includes a baseball/softball t-shirt and hat/visor, practice time on fields, coaches willing to work with kids one on one, schedules, organized game formats, weather updates by email, music at games and a great experience for kids.

Please register your child within the current grade they are enrolled this school year (2025-26). Reminder that games will be played in most weather conditions other than lightning, so please be prepared.

T-ball, Coach Pitch, and Machine Pitch will be held on Mon/Wed evenings in Henefer at the City Park.

Major, Minor Leagues (Boys) will be held on Mon/Wed evenings in Henefer. Pony League (Boys) will be held in Henefer Park as well. They will also be traveling to games in Morgan, Park City, and South Summit.

Softball (Girls) for 3-5 & 6-8 grades will be held on Tues/Thurs evenings. Teams will be traveling to Evanston, Morgan, and South Summit.

Volunteer Coaches will be undergoing a background check per state regulations.

Rules

Have Fun! This should be a positive experience for everyone.
Each Child will hit every inning regardless of outs unless game time expires. Each game will last 45 minutes. Practice for 10-15 minutes.
Coaches will keep track of the time.
Please allow the kids to play all positions.
Score will not be kept.
If the player is called out, they will stay on the base and continue running.
The Inning will be complete once your whole team bats.
Each player will be given 6 swings from the tee.
A batter cannot strike out. If a batter fails to hit the ball, consider it a walk and they will take their place on first base.

Rules

Have fun! This should be a positive experience for everyone.
Each child will hit every inning regardless of outs unless game time has expired. Each game will last 50 minutes. Practice for 10-15 minutes.
Coaches will keep track of the time.
Teams will hit with their coach pitching to them. Each player will receive up to 6 pitches. If they are unsuccessful at hitting a fair ball they will be awarded first base.
Please allow the kids to play all positions during the season.
If a player is called out they will stay on the base.
Innings will be complete once your whole team bats.
Score will not be kept.
A batter cannot strike out. If a batter fails to hit a fair ball, it is considered a walk and they will take their base.

Rules

Each game will last 50 minutes. Practice for 10 minutes.
Each Player will receive up to 6 pitches. If the player doesn’t hit a fair ball they will be called out.
Innings will be complete if there are 3 outs or if you bat through your line up.
Players cannot steal. Base runners may not leave their base until the ball is hit.
Please allow the kids to play all positions during the season.
