Beacon Hill Park

The first phase of Beacon Hill Park opened in May of 2020. This new amenity provides a much needed replacement to the old public playground and pavilion structure which had to be removed to make room for improvements to the county fairgrounds. Those facilities, although pretty worn down, were heavily utilized and sorely missed. This new park helps replace and improve a critical gathering and recreation space and provides great value and sense of community to our small town.

Beacon Hill Park has been a true collaborative effort. The land was donated by North Summit School District, the facilities are maintained by Coalville City, local businesses have donated materials to help with construction, and the North Summit Recreation District will continue to seek opportunities to build on this foundation. Our hope is that the new playground, restrooms, and pavilion will provide a springboard for expansion on this property for needed youth recreation fields, and additional community amenities.

Reservations

The park, pavilion, courts, field or all the above at Beacon Hills Park are available to reserve for your next party or event. A $25-50 cleaning deposit will be required in addition to the fees below. The deposit will be refunded if no additional cleaning is needed.

  • Beacon Park/Pavilion reservation is $50 for 2 hour increments.
  • Beacon Hill Courts: $50 for 2 Hour increments to reserve.
  • Beacon Hill Softball/Soccer field to reserve $50 per 2 hour increments.
  • Beacon Hill Entire Complex $150 for 2 hour increments.

If it is available you will receive an email with a link to pay the deposit online. NOTE: Submitting this form does not guarantee you will be able to reserve the pavilion on the date/time requested.
